Who Needs a God Who Looks Like Us?

This coming Sunday I’m going to start a sermon series leading up to Christmas on the attributes of God, and every day this week I’ll post a scripture passage, a short article, a song, or a short video for you to read, listen to, or watch in preparation for the first sermon on God’s transcendence.


Do we project our ideas of humanity onto God? In the linked article, theologian Roger Olsen, muses on some of the ways people have misunderstood the nature between ourselves and God.
