Prayer Requests for Children and Youth Ministry
1. Thanksgiving for God’s Guidance
Praise the Lord for His grace! The number of participants in Children & Youth Sunday School and GCY Youth Fellowship has been steadily growing each week. This is all because of God’s leading and blessings. Pray that the Lord will continue to bring the children back to church with humble and teachable hearts to learn His Word.
2. Praying for Families
We are grateful for the ongoing support and encouragement from parents and brothers and sisters in Christ, faithfully bringing their children to Sunday School and Youth Fellowship. Pray that the Lord will grant peace and protection to every family, so that they may experience the joy that comes from Him.
3. Children and Youth Ministry as a family ministry
Every family has its own unique needs and challenges. Pray that the Lord will pour out extra wisdom and strength, helping parents and children to seek Him together, and that their hearts may be pleasing to the Lord.
enCompass Bible Reading Group – Come join!
- We read 1 chapter a day, 6 days a week.
- Meet weekly via zoom for 1 hour to read the chapter of that day & discuss

Ministry Update
In an effort to strengthen the support for Robin’s ministry Straight Path–renamed Good News South Asian Fellowhip, the Elders and our District office have formally agreed to a partnership arrangement under the New Ventures program.
The arrangement will be for 3 years and will run from February 15, 2025 to February 29, 2028. Our goal is clear, “To save souls of non-believers by reaching the South Asian diaspora in Winnipeg with the Good News for eternal life. We desire to see people from the South Asian diaspora come to know Jesus and become connected to a church community of their own that understands their culture and needs. We praise God for leading us in this direction. We are also excited to appoint Robin as our missionary-in-resident.
