- Representatives from Naomi House, International Association for Refugees Canada (IAFR), International Student Ministry Canada, Welcome Church, Can HK, and Brenton Diaz (a Trauma specialist from York University) will share how they help newcomers from all walks of life settling in Canada. Several newcomers will also share their story about coming to and living in Canada.
- Brainstorm ways for your local congregation to be more involved or diversify programs to better meet newcomer needs WITHOUT spending additional time/resources in creating these programs, (English, driving, and/or computer classes, and/or help with job searches, employment, housing, and/or cultural adjustments) and most importantly
- Network with other leaders and volunteers from Winnipeg and across the province in our in person and online (hybrid) event.

Announcement
In an effort to strengthen the support for Robin’s ministry Straight Path, the Elders and our District office have formally agreed to a partnership arrangement under the New Ventures program.
The arrangement will be for 3 years and will run from February 15, 2025 to February 29, 2028. Our goal is clear, “To save souls of non-believers by reaching the South Asian diaspora in Winnipeg with the Good News for eternal life. We desire to see people from the South Asian diaspora come to know Jesus and become connected to a church community of their own that understands their culture and needs. We praise God for leading us in this direction. We are also excited to appoint Robin as our missionary-in-resident.

Children & Youth Sunday School
- 9:15 am – Children Sunday School (Grades K – 6)
- 11:15 am – Youth Sunday School (Grades 7 – 12)
- GCY: GCY Youth Group : 7:30 – 9:30 p.m., every Friday except last Friday of the month, church basement – schedule can be found here.
enCompass Bible Reading Group – Come join!
- We read 1 chapter a day, 6 days a week.
- Meet weekly via zoom for 1 hour to read the chapter of that day & discuss
