WCAC Spring Retreat – May 18-20, 2024
We are excited to have an all-congregation joint Spring Retreat at Providence University College and Theological Seminary from May 18-20, 2024.
Main speaker for the English track is Rev. Simon Lee, and there will be a children and youth program led by Susan and Rick Kilbrai.

enCompass Bible Reading Group – Come join!
- We read 1 chapter a day, 6 days a week.
- Meet weekly via zoom for 1 hour to read the chapter of that day & discuss
- In-person get together every 2 months for fun event.

Pastoral search update
Please pray for God’s continued guidance on:
- Children/Youth pastor: The newly appointed children’s pastor, Pastor Carol Yip, will arrive in Winnipeg on May 22 and officially take office on June 1. Please pray for Pastor Carol Yip’s relocation plan and process to go smoothly.
- Transitional Lead pastor: The C&MA Midwest District has given WCAC approval to search for a transitional Lead pastor and is working closely with us during this process. With approval from the Midwest District, a potential candidate has been contacted and we are prayerfully awaiting for his reply and feedback.
Missions update:
Abrina Robin has arrived Malmo, Sweden for her STM with OM (Operation Mobilization). She will return to Winnipeg in June for her high school graduation. Please continue to pray for Abrina, for a safe journey, good health, good opportunities to meet with seekers.
Update: Thank God her financial needs been met. Please pray as she considers her next steps forward. Due to recent change in government regulations, she will be unable to extend her temporary visa beyond May 3.
