CHILDREN’S MINISTRY UPDATE

Service changes: Young children will continue to join their parents in service for singspiration before being dismissed to children’s church for 9:50. Please sign your child in on the second floor as you enter service.

Volunteer Appreciation: We want to bring all volunteers from all 3 congregations together to show our appreciation for your service and dedication to Children Ministry on January 24 10am-1pm. There will be some training followed by food and fellowship. An email invitation will be sent out; please confirm your attendance so that we can prepare food.

PERU SHORT TERM MISSION 2015

Sean Woo is heading up another team to go to Peru this summer.  More information will be available soon.

ENGLISH & MANDARIN CLASSES

Group lessons in conversational Mandarin Chinese will be starting up again on January 11, after service.  Please contact the deacons if you have questions.

Pastor Wei is looking for volunteers to teach English on Sundays to newcomers to Canada. Please contact him for details.

WELCOME BOB & ANN WIEBE

Rev. Bob Wiebe joins us from the C&MA along with his wife Ann. Bob will be assisting as a transitional pastor and will be in the church office Tuesday to Thursday each week. He may be contacted at church or at bobwiebe@encompasschurch.ca.

ELDER BOARD 2015

enCompass members Terry Wong and Wilfred Wong join the WCAC Elder Board for 2015. The other elders are Tony Cheng, Alex Ko, Tony Ng, and enCompass member Duncan Kwok. Please pray for the Board as they lead our church in 2015.

ENCOMPASS DEACONS

Simon Kwok finishes his term as elder and joins the enCompass Deacon Board as coordinator. Nobby Woo joins as deacon-at-large. Terry Wong steps down as deacon to join the WCAC Elder Board.
