Small Group ministry at enCompass provides opportunities for us to grow closer to Christ in a more informal setting. The groups that meet in homes during the week help to foster community within enCompass and remind us that we are not alone in our journey to spiritual maturity. The format of the meetings are not curriculum-based but follow the points of the compass and the four invitations of Jesus.
Sample Activities: potluck, BBQ, games night, watch movie on DVD, invite neighbours co-workers and friends
Sample Activities: discussion of Sunday message or Bible study resource from Right Now Media
Sample Activities: service projects
Sample Activities: memorize Bible verses, fasting, lectio divina, solitude, group prayer meeting, prayer walks
Small groups meet at various times in homes throughout the week.
Happy September everyone! There will be no enLight (Adult Sunday School) for the month of September.
Stay tuned for a series later in the Fall!

The Ride for Refuge is a cycling fundraiser that supports over 165 charitable partners who in turn support thousands more who are displaced, vulnerable or exploited – refugees, orphans, widows, street kids, the urban poor, homeless, victims of human trafficking – the list is extensive. This fall, thousands of other riders and volunteers in Canada and the USA will raise $1,000,000 for some of the most marginalized people in our world.
We are partnering with Defend Dignity and The CHAI Centre to help them continue to advocate for exploited women and children in Canada.
